thermomanometer

A thermomanometer is a device that combines the function of a thermometer (temperature measurement) and a pressure gauge (pressure measurement) in one device. This means that, in addition to displaying the temperature, it also allows you to monitor the gas or liquid pressure in the given system. This type of measuring device is often used for condition monitoring and parameter control in various systems and processes.

The functioning of the thermomanometer depends on the type of sensors used in it:

Bimetallic Thermomanometer: This type of thermomanometer contains two metal sheets that are welded together. The two metals have different coefficients of thermal expansion. As the temperature changes, these metals expand or contract in different ways, causing the bimetallic rod to bend. This bending motion is then converted to a gauge that displays the current temperature and pressure.

Capillary thermomanometer: This type contains a capillary (thin tube) filled with liquid that expands or contracts depending on the temperature. The pressure of the liquid changes depending on the temperature and thus changes the position of the pointer.

Thermomanometers are used in many industrial and commercial applications such as:

Boiler rooms and heating systems: For monitoring temperature and pressure in boilers and heating systems.
Water and gas systems: For pressure and temperature control in water and gas supply systems.
Chemical industry: To monitor process parameters and chemical reactions.
Automotive industry: For monitoring cooling systems in vehicles.
Industrial and laboratory processes: To monitor parameters in various industrial processes and laboratory experiments.
Types of thermomanometers can include different design variants, sensors and measurement technologies, but all have in common the ability to combine temperature and pressure measurement in one device.
