1984
The first computerized tomography device of the Siemens brand in the F.D. Roosevelt University Hospital and Polyclinic in Banská Bystrica brought groundbreaking possibilities for modern diagnosis of diseases. It saw into the human body like no other device before it.
1993
Establishment of Siemens s.r.o. meant the official restoration of the multinational concern's representation in the country. There was a sharp boom in investments and large production and business projects. Siemens has become one of the largest foreign investors in Slovakia.
1994
The company signed contracts for large energy projects of atomic power plants in Jaslovské Bohunice and Mochovce.
1995
Successful completion of deliveries of medical equipment to 52 hospitals
1997
Modernization and reconstruction of public lighting in Bratislava. Siemens was one of the first companies to bring light to the night streets of Slovak cities.
1998
Start of operation of the Bratislava steam-gas cycle, which Siemens equipped with modern technologies. It replaced an old non-ecological heating plant that burned fuel oil.
2000
Delivery of a security system for the Railways of the Slovak Republic.
2002
Start of operation of the reconstructed municipal waste incinerator in Bratislava, which, thanks to Siemens technology, is one of the most modern in Central Europe.
2004
Completion of the digitization of the telephone network of the dominant operator Slovak Telecom, in which Siemens was largely involved. At that time, every second telephone conversation was provided by Siemens technologies.
2005
Siemens implemented automation projects for production lines and plants in Volkswagen Bratislava and PSA Peugeot Citroën Trnava. In addition, he put into operation the first electronic turn signal device SIMIS W in Slovakia at the railway station in Trnava.
2009
The concern became a technological partner of the most modern hospital in Slovakia, Medissimo. The revolutionary Mammomat Inspiration mammograph is the most modern and gentle device for diagnosing breast cancer.
2011
In a record three years, Siemens built a new steam-gas power plant in Malženice as a turnkey project, which supplies ecologically clean electricity to approximately 900,000 households. The power plant is one of the most modern in Europe.
