Press fitting

Press fitting is a method of connecting pipes and tubes to a piping system without the use of soldering, welding or screws. This method uses special fittings that are simply pushed or pressed into the hole at the end of the pipe to form the joint.

Press fittings are usually made of durable material such as stainless steel, copper, nickel-plated copper or other materials with good mechanical properties. Precision machining is used to manufacture these fittings to achieve a reliable and tight fit with the pipe.

The actual connection process using press fittings can be performed in different ways. One of the most common methods is to use a mechanical press, which presses the fitting into the hole at the end of the pipe, creating a tight connection. Another way may be to use hydraulic tools or other technologies to press the fitting.

The advantage of press fittings is their quick and easy installation, which does not require special tools or skills, such as soldering or welding. In addition, these fittings provide strong and tight connections that are resistant to leakage and ensure long-term reliable operation of the piping system.

Press fittings are often used in a variety of applications, including plumbing, heating, cooling, and various industrial applications where quick and efficient pipe and tube connections are required. Their popularity continues to grow due to the ease of installation and reliability of the connections they provide.
