A neuralizing filter, also known as a neutralizing filter, is a device used to adjust the pH value of water by reducing its acidity or alkalinity. The functioning of the neuralization filter:

pH regulation: Neuralization filter works on the principle of reaction of water with some regulating medium that has the ability to neutralize the acidity or alkalinity of the water. This medium can be, for example, calcium or carbonate.

Chemical reaction: As the water passes through the neuralizing filter, chemical reactions occur between the water and the regulating medium, which adjusts the pH. If the water is too acidic, the medium will make it alkaline, and vice versa, in the case of alkaline water, it will acidify it.

Types of neuralization filters:

Lime filters: Lime filters use lime (calcium hydroxide) as a regulating medium to increase the pH of acidic water.

Carbonate filters: Carbonate filters use a calcium carbonate material to stabilize the pH of the water, preventing the pH from falling or rising too quickly.

Advantages of neuralization filters:

Equipment and Pipeline Protection: Maintaining the correct water pH helps minimize corrosion and deposits in pipes and equipment, reducing the risk of damage and extending life.
