HNBR

The abbreviation HNBR stands for "Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber" in English, which in Slovak is "Hydrogenated nitrile-butadiene rubber". HNBR is a special type of synthetic rubber with increased resistance to heat, oil, ozone and chemicals.

HNBR is often used in industry, especially in the production of seals, guffers, springs and other components, where high demands are placed on resistance to temperature extremes and chemical environments. Compared to conventional nitrile-butadiene rubbers (NBR), HNBR has improved thermal stability and resistance to oils and chemicals.

Its properties are suitable, for example, for the automotive industry, in the production of seals for engines and transmissions, for industrial automation, in oil refineries and other applications where aggressive environments and temperature extremes are present.
