GPD

The abbreviation GPD in the context of water treatment plants usually stands for "Gallons Per Day". This unit is used to measure water flow through certain devices or systems such as reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration and other water treatment plants. It indicates how many gallons (US) of water a given system can clean or produce in one day. The use of this unit is common in assessing the performance of various water treatment and purification equipment, as well as in determining their ability to provide the required amount of clean water in a specified period of time.
