Differential pressure
Differential pressure is the difference between two pressure values at different points or times. It is the pressure difference that exists between two points in space or between two sides of an obstacle such as a wall or filter.
In practice, differential pressure is often used to measure and monitor various physical processes and systems. For example, industrial equipment such as HVAC, heating and cooling often use sensors to measure differential pressure to control airflow or system efficiency. Also, differential pressure is used in laboratory applications, medicine and many other fields.
